School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.

Regular events
Book Week
Date: August each year
Book Week is a special time at our school where we celebrate a love of reading. Students take part in fun activities throughout the week.
Kindergarten Orientation Days
Date: September/October each year
Time: Mornings
School orientation days are an opportunity for students, parents and carers to get to know our school before enrolment.
Kindergarten Transition Days
Date: November/ December each year
Time: Mornings
Kindergarten transition is for students enroled for the following year to experience classroom life. Parents and carers attend information sessions run by key staff members.
P&C meeting
Date: Twice per term
Time: Wednesday 9:15 am in the hall.
Join our vibrant P&C. Parents and carers are welcome to attend. Many parents come and help out at events and P&C fundraisers.
Athletics and Cross Country Carnivals
Every year our carnivals bring our community together, teachers, parents and students enjoying events and cheering each other on.
Easter Hat Parade
Another much loved yearly event where students and parents in K-2 get to share their creativity.
Premier's Reading Challenge
We love reading at CPPS and participate in the PRC. Reading comprehension is embedded across the curriculum, so every lesson is a reading lesson!
